The CTD's you are getting are almost certainly the result of two or more plugins not working together. And was absolutely necessary to make them all play together correctly. My custom patch has had 17 revisions and is now over 5mb in size. But it's working stable and solid and was well worth the effort.īut I'd never have gotten it to work trusting only patches that existed out there. It took me almost 100 hours of work to prepare and complete this installation.
At least if you are using mods of any complexity. If you are going to go for extensive modding combinations, you simply have to learn how to find conflicts and fix them. They were created for previous versions, where other parts have been updated and made those patches incomplete or even broken. Many mods and their patches are outdated. even mods said to be compatible together. one of the things I was forced to do, in order to do this, was do my own custom patching.
I'm currently running almost 500 mods, 383 plugins in total, merged down into 252 plugins.
